The Bagel

This is my Maya pride and joy that I worked on during my last semester of college ever. I modeled everything in the environment (except the plants; those were Maya's), and downloaded the Bonnie Rig by Josh Sorbel (highly recommend it!) and Squirrley Rig by Josh Burton. I am obviously not a lighter, and some of the discrepancy in the lighting probably has to do with different settings on the different computers I rendered this out on. Do enjoy!

Senior Project Sneak Peek!

I created the environments in Photoshop to cater to the characters (which were modeled and rigged in Maya by a team mate). I then went over their faces to give them expressions. It's coming along!

Monkeys Are Jerks

It's time to unveil a new animation! It has audio and everything, but don't expect too much from that department.

Bumbledore

Symbiosis

I've been commissioned to design some little mascots for the local preschool, and I like this one so very much enough to color it and put it up here. I'm not bumbling around (heh heh)!

Secrets Divulged

Finally a "progress reel...?" Two whole pictures to sum up the hour.
Forgive my crooked camera work. This is why I make pictures and don't take them.

Golden Oldies

These are from quite a while ago (not that I'm all that old), but these are my personal antiques.

From 2007! A wee one I was; just got my drivers' license.

Finger Painting!

I'm home for a couple of days and I thought I would take the opportunity to dabble in my old acrylics, but, wouldn't you know it... I couldn't find my brushes! So I revisited the past time of finger painting. Now I don't think I can stop.

For the OCD out there, I apologize for the wobberjowledness of this Taj.

Finger painting places I've been may become a hobby.

New Batch

Here are some more from the sketchbook. I'm planning on taking some of my favorites and touching them up digitally.

3D Modeling (Something Wonky and New)

This is a work in progress. I still have to texture and light and other technical jargon I pretend to understand, but I've discovered something I like almost as much as illustration! This will be a complete scene with animated characters by the end of the semester (I'm accountable now). Modeled in Maya 2013.

Proud Paper Post

I have a tendency to believe that publicizing my work might seem conceited, but I've come to realize that it's not an attribute of an artist to horde what's been created! So here, world, have some of my pride. I am proud of these.

Obligatory Hipster Illustration

10 points if you can name this glorious man.
